RF Express for QAD Enterprise Applications provides a standard set of over 100 transactions, which can then be easily configured via control file settings to meet individual needs. RF Express for QAD Enterprise Applications is designed to give minimum overhead while adding maximum functionality. It requires no additional databases and is written in Progress, the native language of QAD Enterprise Applications. The software is installed on the same UNIX or NT server as QAD Enterprise Applications. The RF terminals are TCP/IP devices that communicate with radio access points (also TCP/IP). The access points provide telnet connectivity to the host.

There are some real term cost savings that can be made by using RF Express as eight concurrent users only occupies a single QAD Enterprise Application licence.
